At Auroras & Blossoms, we could not thrive without the support of friends, artists and donors. We are very grateful for you and want to support you back in our own way.

We are starting a new series called “Special Supporters”. Once in a while, we will highlight someone who has made a major contribution to our platform, either financially or via word of mouth.

Today, we would like to introduce you to Dr. Emory D. Jones.

Emory hails from Iuka, Mississipi, United States, and is a retired English teacher. His work has been featured in many publications including Voices International, The White Rock Review, Writer’s Digest, Smokey Blue Literary and Arts Magazine, The Light Ekphrastic, Old Red Kimono, American Poetry, Deep South Magazine, Modern Poetry Quarterly Review, Gravel, and Encore: Journal of the NFSPS. Emory lives with his wife, Glenda. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.

Emory has submitted to us several times and recently made a big donation to help support the publication of issue 5. His work will be featured in a future issue of the magazine. In the meantime, we invite you to read one of his pieces, The Concert, which was published in 2018 on The Society of Classical Poets website.

We thank you, Emory, for believing in us the way you do. We cannot wait to share the poetry you sent us with the world!
