Ever since announcing the Kindku, our poetry form, we have been blown away by your feedback. Some of you dived right in and sent us beautiful poems. Others are very intrigued but want to see more examples before they give the Kindku a try.
Today, we are very excited to announce the upcoming release of our new book, which, we hope, will inspire you to write kindku and sixku poetry on a regular basis!
Rhythm Flourishing: A Collection of Kindku and Sixku is a multimedia project that features positive and uplifting poems inspired by a bunch of major writers (e.g., Elizabeth Bishop, John Keats, Lord Byron, Christina Rossetti, Maya Angelou, Pablo Neruda); as well as some great photography.
Rhythm Flourishing: A Collection of Kindku and Sixku will be released on September 3, 2020. You can pre-order your copy for $6.99 $3.99 until then.
We have two pieces of news to share with you today. We’ll start with the good one.

Now onto the bad news. We have made the difficult decision to cancel the PoArtMo 2020 Contest. The reason is simple: After three weeks, the number of entries that did not fit the criteria of the contest had far outweighed the number of qualifying entries, hence creating a lot of extra work for us.
With that said, we are happy to report that our call for submissions to the PoArtMo 2020 Anthology has received more positive attention. As a result, we are extending the deadline for the PoArtMo 2020 Anthology to August 23, 2020! So, please continue submitting to us!
NB: The PoArtMo Anthology is open to all types of artists, not just poets.
April was such an incredibly busy month and went by in a flash. However, we can still celebrate all of the wonderful inspirational poetry that was written over this period, thanks to the release of a dedicated anthology of poetry organised by Auroras & Blossoms.
The Auroras & Blossoms NaPoWriMo Anthology: 2020 Edition
You can get it now for a reduced price ($8.99 $5.99) until its official publication date on June 23rd. At nearly one hundred pages in length and featuring the works of 38 poets, it contains a fascinating series of poems that are all inspirational, motivational and moving in the extreme.
Featured poets, here is a banner that you can use to display on your websites, blogs and elsewhere. We ask you to link to The Auroras & Blossoms NaPoWriMo Anthology: 2020 Edition page: https://abpoetryjournal.com/napowrimo-anthology-2020.
Our New PoArtMo Contest and Anthology!
Now that NaPoWriMo is over, what else do we have to look forward to in the art world for the rest of the year?
How about an new inspirational artistic movement!
June 1st sees the launch of the very first PoArtMo (Positive Art Month) run by Auroras & Blossoms. For all of you who are sad that NaPoWriMo is finished, we strongly suggest that you take a look and check out our PoArtMo events, which we are celebrating through the month of June and also throughout the rest of the year too.
This year, we are celebrating NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month) in style. And we want you to do so as well!
From today until May 15th 2020, we will be accepting submissions of positive / uplifting / inspirational poems written during NaPoWriMo 2020 for a special digital NaPoWriMo 2020 anthology!
We would like to gather 50 poems together for the anthology.
For those who have already submitted poetry to us in the past, these guidelines will look familiar. They are very similar to our general guidelines for submitting to our poetry journal.
For poets interested in sending us their work for potential feature in our special digital NaPoWriMo 2020 anthology, we ask that you read our NaPoWriMo guidelines carefully. You can also purchase a copy of one of our issues of our poetry journal to get a better idea of the type of poetry we tend to feature.
(Speaking of which, do you know that you can win a digital copy of our upcoming Issue 3 of our poetry journal? For more info, click here.)
What If We Don’t Receive Enough Poems?
Nothing is lost, friends! If we don’t reach 50 poems, selected pieces will find a home in our future upcoming issues of our poetry journal.
We Are Participating in NaPoWriMo Individually Too!
As you may know, we (David and Cendrine) are also poets. So we will be busy writing as much poetry as we can during NaPoWriMo. Actually, we will share our daily blog posts on all of Auroras & Blossoms social media channels (Facebook and Twitter). We hope that it will encourage you to get writing!
We look forward to reading your poems and featuring them in our anthology!
Happy reading and writing, stay inspired everyone!
We have been very busy since our last news bulletin.
Further to our previous announcements regarding our creation of workbooks and journals to really inspire your writing, we have released several new guides within the last few weeks.
Our writing journals, workbooks and guides are specifically crafted to inspire you all individually and in a personal way. They cover a variety of important topics, such as writing more experienced poetry, marketing your way to success as a writer/author and social media guides that encourage you to make the most out of building online relationships. We even have covered social media platforms in more detail, along with providing a Twitter workbook to help you widen your core audience even more.
To find out more about all of the journals and workbooks that we have currently released and where you can get hold of them all, you can find a dedicated page on our website for them:
We look forward to hearing your feedback regarding them. If you have any suggestions for specific workbooks you would like to see from us in the future then feel free to get in touch with us.
As always, happy writing and stay inspired, friends!
